Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to send food for our cookout on Tues., May 19. We have 2 students bringing brownies and 3 students providing chips. We could use at least one more bag of chips and we still do not have anyone bringing a case of pop for our class.

     At the beginning of the school year, Mrs. Wheeler's first grade class and our 5th grade class became reading buddies. As the year draws to a close, Mrs. Wheeler and I would like for the two classes to get together for a picnic. We have planned the picnic for Friday, May 15, after our lung dissection. All students should bring a sack lunch for this activity.

 Some up and coming dates to remember are as follows:

 May 12--Fun in the Sun--A.M. only

May 13--Band practice at ACMS--P.M. only

              Dine and dance after school-6:00

May 14--Band practice at ACMS--P. M. only

              Spring band concert 5:00 P.M.

May 15--5th grade lung dissection 9:45-10:30

             Behavior Party

              Picnic and movie with reading buddies

May 18--Talent Show 1:30

May 19--Kickball and Cookout

              5th grade celebration 2:00-3:00--Students may leave with parents at 3:00

May 20--End of year assembly--9:00

              Last day for students, report cards come home
